Hello, my name is April. I'm the owner of Little Monkey’s Children’s Consignment Store.  I was a Personal Support Worker for 19 years. It was always my dream to open a consignment store close to home one day. 

After my dad passed suddenly, my husband and I agreed life was too short and I needed to follow my dreams.  

In June of 2018 I opened the store in Belle River.  I struggled to find a name. I had 1 grandson at the time and wanted to name it after him, but after thinking it over I realized that wouldn’t be fair if more grandchildren were to follow.

Lucas loved to come over and we always found him in our bedroom jumping on our bed and he always asked me to sing 10 little monkeys......so Little Monkey’s was the perfect name.

Wife to my amazing husband Mike, mother of 2 daughters and I have 3 grandchildren who are my everything. I was raised in Stoney Point, ON

We have a very busy life as we run a family farm, in our spare time we are seasonal campers and enjoy spending as much as possible time with our family.
